Wildflowers are in a superbloom in Nevada desert landscape after a big 2023 winter that brought tons of snow. The Nevada landscape is usually seen as brown but for a short period of time all sorts of wildflowers pop up which makes for a unique and beautiful desert landscape. These wildflower photos were taken in the surrounding hills near Reno, Nevada. Some of the wildflowers I had never seen before like the Large-headed clover. Some of the other wildflowers included the deep red Indian Paintbrush, lupine, Buckwheat, Long-leafed phlox and Desert Peach bush that grows either a white or soft red / pink flower.
