I had this canvas photo of Pyramid Lake printed at Bayphoto at 8ft x 15″. They do a great job and produce excellent color prints. However, to save money on shipping I needed to build and stretch the canvas frame myself. The great thing is there are a ton of tutorials online. I followed this Aussie’s tutorial below.
The video is really easy to follow and the way he makes the frame is really easy.
This photo was take on a near by mountain that my dad and I hiked to that overlooks Pyramid Lake. I took this photo June 1, 2019. We saw wild horses, in fact there is a wild horse that was ridge lined on the far right side of the image. You can see the Pyramid, Anaho Island, The Pinnacles, Washoe Dry Lake and those crazy cool clouds.
