Photography dogs in action can be very challenging but for me I enjoy the challenge and if all things work out right the photos can be really cool! I’ve had the opportunity to photograph The Super Retriever Series, an event that brings together the best dog handler teams in the nation to compete in various skills of field trials, hunt test and hunting scenarios. If you’re not use to seeing sporting dogs like this work you’d be amazed. These top labrador retrievers show their skills of being a gun dog and are scored on their agility, steadiness and memory. Both dog trainer and retriever must work together as a team. Below are just a few of the sporting dog photographs and video I’ve taken.
