Project Description
Auburn Ski Club is set to host The 2020 XC Junior Nationals. Junior cross country skiers from all over the country converge to the small town of Truckee, CA to compete. I was tasked to develop art work to brand and promote the event. My vision for the logo was to use simplistic paint strokes to create a recognizable skate skier and classic skier. I wanted the paint strokes to look real and 3D, so in Photoshop I morphed real paint stokes. The font in the design was created by another artist that was working with Auburn Ski Club to create the logo.
