Project Description
Here are a few magazine layout designs I did back when I worked for Couloir and Telemark Skier Magazines. I was the graphic designer responsible for crafting new creative layouts for both magazines and all marketing collateral. In addition, I managed the photography submissions and color correction. During my time as the Art director I developed a keen eye for detail and effective visual communication. On the production side I coordinated with advertising agencies to get ad creative to work with our magazine layout standard. I worked with printers to meet deadlines and visual reproduction met our standards. I designed the publications web sites, which included flash presentations, static web pages, and mysql/php applications. As the photo editor I also did product photography for gear reviews.
