Project Description
The Billy Dutton Uphill is a ski / running race that goes from the bottom to the top of Squaw Valley, USA. The races was named after a Squaw Valley local badass Billy Dutton, who use to cross country skate up and down the mountain. Billy passed way before his time but his Mom Betty Dutton and family created the race as a way to celebrate Billy’s amazing endurance and thirst for adventure. The race profits go to the local Far West Cross Country Ski Program and could be one of the hardest ski races you’ll find in the US. I’ve been lucky to know the family and was given the opportunity to design the logo / t-shirt art for a number of years.
