Project Description
A black labrador retriever drawing I did on a Wacom 24″ display tablet in Photoshop. It had been a long time since I have sat down to really focus on producing an illustration. My biggest challenge was getting the eyes looking right, next was the shadowing shadowing and texturing of the dog which ended up being pretty fun has that really makes the drawing come to life. This is my second drawing I’ve done on my new Wacom pen display and I really like how close it is to actually drawing on pencil and paper. However on the Wacom and Adobe Photoshop you can layer and easily correct mistakes without making a mess. My goal for future dog illustrations is to capture more personality and action.
